The EPR Club invites you to a debate exploring how lessons from France’s long-standing Extended Producer Responsibility schemes for packaging, textiles and furniture can inform future policy and implementation across Europe.
Speakers from these sectors will discuss governance structures, operational challenges and opportunities for improvement. The discussion will help identify common strengths and weaknesses to support ongoing EU policy development, including the Circular Economy Act and Environmental Omnibus.
The event will also provide valuable input for the setup of textile and furniture EPR schemes in other Member States, as countries move forward under the Waste Framework Directive and the European Commission’s ESPR work plan.
Objectives:
• Extract lessons on the governance of EPR schemes
• Inform EU and national policymaking
• Share practical experiences to support effective implementation
This online debate will take place on the 12 November, from 15:00 to 17:00 (GMT+2).
Register here to attend the event.
Please note this workshop is open to ACR+ members and EPR club members only.
